Ken Goodey This and 'The Light, The Hate' are the first two tracks I heard by BRT and are still my favourites. For me this falls somewhere in that vast spectrum between Brutal DM and Melodeath - not sure exactly where - but I particularly like the musicality of BRT's output and that they manage to inject a fair amount of groove in their songs without compromising any of the heaviness. The rest of the album is just as solid, and I'm in no doubt that I'll end up loving all of this album. Favorite track: Mephitication.

about

Following their signing to Earache, Blood Red Throne managed to record their darkest and most intense album yet with 'Altered Genesis', the band's third full-length title. Released in 2005, the album represents some of the finest death metal Norway has to offer.
